Stereographic Viewer Estimated Date Early 1850s

An early version of the of the viewer that predated the popular Holmes-Bates stereoscope. Stereograph can be held in place with the two strips of metal and supported by the slim rise of wood on the viewers left and then peered at through the lenses.
